HOPE FOR HOMEOWNERS

I hope this letter finds you all well and in good health. Your time is very valuable and precious, so I will get straight to the point. 

 Homeowners that are behind on payments or at risk of facing foreclosure may benefit and find relief from a new federal government program called Hope for Homeowners (H4H), authorized under The Economic and Housing Recovery Act of 2008, which was signed into law by President Bush on July 30, 2008(www.fha.gov)(www.hud.gov). 

Hope for Homeowners is designed to help homeowners keep their home and obtain a new 30 or 40 year fixed rate loan with lower payments, even if they are behind in payments, have no equity, and low credit scores.  

Borrowers may qualify if:

• Their monthly mortgage payment exceeds 31% of their gross income.
• They are unable to pay their existing mortgage without help.
• They’ve experienced a financial hardship due to loss of employment, loss of hours or overtime at work, or serious injury, or illness to a spouse or family member.
